Akhoi is Jalpan (Snacks) in Assamese made from rice. It is a light snack which has a low fat content an which is consumed during breakfast or in the evening.
Besan also known as chickpea flour, chana or gram flour, Besan is used commonly throughout India and in parts of the Mediterranean also. It is rich in protein, and is produced from dried chick peas.

Sattu is made by processing gram. De- husked grams are cleaned, roasted and pulverized to convert them in powder or flour from and this is known as sattu.
