“Greetings,

I am grateful that Bhogali Jalpan has completed 25 years of service, bringing Assamese Traditional Food to you across India, even abroad. Bhogali Jalpan was inspired by the need I felt during the late 90s Guwahati. I was then working in a private company, the absence of Bihu (Bhogali Bihu) celebration amongst the busy city life made me miss my village. That was the moment; Bhogali Jalpan took birth, at least in my mind.

Bhogali Jalpan, now formally known as Bhogali Food Products Private Limited is a registered legal company. Bhogali Jalpan is not only a Jalpan business; we are proudly a trademark of Assamese Authentic Traditional Food. As a pioneer, we always thrive to produce, manufacture and market our products in the most authentic way possible. Bhogali Jalpan stands for the slogan “VOCAL FOR LOCAL”; in our organization we always try to empower our local markets using the local resources. We procure our raw materials locally across Assam, process and manufacture locally to provide employments to our people, and as our target market is mostly Assam based we keep our prices minimal compared to other brands, so that our best quality products are easily available to all the people.

I also want to bring to the attention of our consumers, specially the younger generation, that Bhogali Jalpan is proud not only being a traditional trademark of Assam, but, we cater to you healthy and hygienic food. Rice is the staple food for various parts of the world; for a country like India, Rice and rice based dishes can be considered as the most ancient food. As most of our products are rice based, we can confidently say that including our products in your diet will help you in maintaining a healthy body. Many doctors and nutritionists have also recommended our products to their patients as part of a healthy diet, and even as baby food. So, for a healthy lifestyle incorporate our products in your daily diet.

On this moment I would also like to share that it is not only me; but, the good faith, spirit and passion of all the people connected to us, especially our employees, Bhogali Jalpan has successfully completed this 25 years. Along with our employees we are always grateful to our retailers, as we are directly connected to them through our sales team. We are very fortunate to get quick responses, honest feedbacks and direct support from our retailers regarding all the aspects of our business. We accept it as a valuable asset for the company. As a first generation company, it was a whole new experience for me; therefore, I am also grateful to the departmental officers of various government and non-government organizations for their continuous support and encouragement for the company. At last, the most valuable asset of our company, our dear customers. We are always thankful to our customers; their constant love and trust have made our company a trademark brand of Assamese Traditional Food.
